Fox BF-756 Lynx
$222.00
D2. D2 tool steel is a high-carbon, high-chromium alloy known for its excellent wear resistance and ability to maintain a sharp edge. It is a cold work tool steel, widely used for high-wear applications like die cutting, forming, and blades. D2 is not quite a ‘stainless steel’ so a quick clean after use is recommended. D2 is a tough steel. If you have inferior sharpening gear then you may need to upgrade for D2. I would recommend modern diamond stones if you are a freehand sharpener.
HRC 59-61
The Fox Lynx is a great blade. A slight drop point and with some belly at the front. The G10 handle scales with a red liner make for not only a tough all round knife but it looks good as well. It has a lanyard hole at the rear of the full tang blade. Gimping on the top for finger control is also a welcome feature. The overall length is 220 mm and the blade is 110 mm. Spine thickness is 4 mm. A great all round performer. Comes with a Kydex sheath and Fox’s 2 year warranty.
